11. Do-Not-Track Signals and Universal Opt-Out

Some browsers and browser extensions send a Do-Not-Track (DNT) signal or a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to indicate a preference not to be tracked online. We honor GPC opt-out signals as required by applicable law, including Oregon's Consumer Privacy Act. When we detect a valid GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data.

There is currently no uniform standard for responding to DNT signals specifically; where no recognized standard applies, we may not respond to DNT signals.


12. California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Persuasion Maven, LLC has not sold personal information to any third party in the preceding 12 months and does not intend to do so.

13. Oregon Residents (OCPA)

If you are an Oregon resident, you have rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA), which took effect July 1, 2024.

Your rights under the OCPA include:

  • Right to Access a copy of the personal data we process about you
  • Right to Correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Right to Deletion of personal data we have collected about you
  • Right to Data Portability
  • Right to a List of Specific Third Parties to whom we have disclosed your personal data
  • Right to Opt Out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising or profiling

To exercise any of these rights, email jess@persuasionmaven.com. We will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.

Oregon residents may also opt out of targeted advertising through a Universal Opt-Out Mechanism (UOOM) such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), which we honor.
